TRAINING
What you get
An SWF East Instructor will train two employees from your company on Embroidery and Machine Basics and Embroidery Software. Both students will share a computer station during the software class. The students will also experience hands-on training using one of our SWF embroidery machines. We keep our classes small, in order to provide quality training and encourage students to ask questions.

How much does it cost?

Courses
Embroidery and Machine Basics
This is a hands-on course that introduces the new embroiderer to basic embroidery terms and use of an SWF single head machine. Topics include:
- Basic hooping techniques
- Loading designs in the embroidery machine and sewing
- Assigning design colors
- Changing needles
- Threading the machine
- Tensioning - machine and bobbin
- Threads, needles, bobbins, backing and each items characteristic
- Basic routine maintenance
Editing
This one day course will allow participants to edit designs, create lettering, change colors, resize designs, copy and paste, etc. All aspects of the software are covered in class including lettering properties. Participants create designs to reinforce concepts learned in class. A training manual is supplied for note taking and reference.
Digitizing
This 2 day course will go into all the elements of the Editing class and will introduce participants to basic manual digitizing, including properties, digitizing tools, stitch types and their use and autodigitizing. Participants will create designs to reinforce concepts learned in class. A training manual is supplied for note taking and reference.
